Septic failed? How to get a porta potty fast in Aiken
When a septic tank backs up or a drain field fails, the house toilets are off-limits until the repair is done. Here is how Aiken homeowners get a porta potty the same day, and what to expect while the repair runs.

How fast can I get a porta potty after a septic failure?
You can usually get a porta potty the same day in the Aiken area when you call by 12 PM, Monday through Saturday. Say it is a septic failure, so we put you on the earliest truck. After noon, we book the first morning route. A same-day fee is listed on the quote.
- Call, do not use the form, when the toilet is out now.
- Give the address and where the unit should go.
- Tell us where the septic tank and drain field are, so the truck stays off them.
- Pay by card to lock the same-day slot.
Where should the porta potty go during a septic repair?
The porta potty should go on firm ground near the back door, at least 10 feet from the tank, the drain field and the dig area. Repair crews need room for an excavator and a pump truck. Put the unit where it will not block their path, and where our service truck can still reach it.
If the repair truck needs the driveway, place the unit in the side yard and tell us before delivery.

How long do septic repairs usually take?
Septic repairs take anywhere from 1 day for a pumped tank or a broken baffle to several weeks for a new drain field that needs a permit. In South Carolina, new or repaired septic systems are permitted by the SC Department of Environmental Services. Plan the rental around the permit and the installer's schedule.
Our 7-day rental includes one service visit. If the repair runs longer, the rental rolls into weekly service without a second delivery fee. See short-term home rentals.

Should I add a hand washing station?
Yes, if the kitchen sink is also out. A hand washing station starts at $105 for short stays and rides on the same truck.
Can my septic contractor order it?
Yes. Many installers call us for their customers. We just need the address and a contact for the homeowner.
