Where should a deluxe porta potty go at an event?
A deluxe porta potty should sit on flat ground within 25 feet of where the truck can park and about 50 to 100 feet from food tables. The unit is 47 inches wide, so a backyard gate must be at least 52 inches wide. Put it near lighting if guests stay after dark.
- Pick a level spot so the flush water stays in the bowl.
- Keep it away from the dance floor speakers and the buffet line.
- Light the path with string lights or a lantern for evening receptions.
- Tell us about soft lawns. After rain we lay boards so the dolly does not rut your yard.
How does a deluxe porta potty stay clean during an event?
A deluxe porta potty stays clean because guests flush fresh water over the bowl, and the sink keeps hands clean. For a one-day event, the unit needs no mid-event service. For two or more days, or over 75 guests, we add a service visit to refill water and pump the tank.
We fill the flush and sink tanks at the yard, so you never need a hose. If an event runs a full weekend, schedule a Saturday morning service before guests arrive.
When is a deluxe porta potty the wrong choice?
A deluxe porta potty is the wrong choice for long construction rentals, for very large crowds, and for guests who use wheelchairs. On jobsites the sink water runs out fast. Over about 100 guests, a restroom trailer moves people faster. Wheelchair users need an accessible unit.

Deluxe flushing unit questions
These {'deluxe flushing unit'} answers are short on purpose: the answer first, then any condition that changes it. They cover the details renters usually check before paying. Still unsure about your own site or dates? Call (803) 343-9386 and get a straight answer from the Aiken office.
How much does a deluxe flushing porta potty cost?
A deluxe flushing unit starts at $245 per event in the Aiken area, with delivery, setup and pickup included. Weekend events get a Friday drop and Monday pickup at no extra charge. SC sales tax is added.
Is a deluxe unit cheaper than a standard unit plus a hand wash station?
Usually not by much. A standard event unit starts at $165 and a hand washing station at $105. Pairing them gives two sinks outside. A deluxe unit puts one sink inside, which guests at weddings prefer.
Does a deluxe porta potty need a water hookup?
No. The flush and sink tanks are filled at our yard before delivery. You do not need a hose, outlet or generator.
How many flushes does the deluxe unit hold?
Enough for a typical 4–5 hour event with about 50 guests. For bigger or longer events we add a second unit or a mid-event refill.
Can I get a deluxe unit for an October wedding?
Yes, but fall weekends book early in Aiken. Book 3 to 6 weeks ahead for September through November dates. We will hold the date as soon as the quote is approved.
Is the deluxe unit good for older guests?
Yes for guests who walk on their own. The seat is 19.5 inches high and the floor is roomy. Guests who use a wheelchair or walker need our wheelchair-accessible unit.
