Need a standard unit today?

Order by 12 PM Mon–Sat for same-day delivery in the Aiken area.

Will a standard porta potty fit through my gate?

A standard porta potty needs a gate at least 48 inches wide. The unit is 43.5 inches wide, and the driver needs a few inches on each side for the dolly. If your gate is narrower, the unit goes in the driveway or the side yard. Measure your gate before you book.

  • Ground: flat and firm. A slope tips the unit and the door will not latch.
  • Truck reach: the truck parks within about 25 feet. Longer carries cost time and may add a fee.
  • Keep clear of: septic lids, sprinkler heads, low tree limbs and power lines.
  • Door direction: face the door away from the street or toward the work area for privacy.
  • Wind: on open lots we stake or strap the unit when storms are forecast.

How is a standard porta potty cleaned?

A standard porta potty on a rental longer than 7 days is serviced once a week. The driver pumps the tank, scrubs the seat, urinal and walls, adds fresh blue deodorizer and restocks toilet paper. Extra visits can be added for big crews, hot weather or heavy use.

  1. Pump the waste tank empty with the vacuum truck.
  2. Pressure-wash and scrub the seat, urinal, floor and walls.
  3. Add fresh water and deodorizer to the tank.
  4. Restock toilet paper and check the door latch.
  5. Note the visit time so you can see it on your invoice.

When is a standard porta potty the wrong choice?

A standard porta potty is the wrong choice when guests expect running water, when someone uses a wheelchair, or when the event is formal. A wedding with dressed-up guests is better served by a deluxe flushing unit or a restroom trailer. Any public event should add a wheelchair-accessible unit.

Standard porta potty questions

Here are straight answers to the {'standard porta potty'} questions people ask before they book. Every answer starts with the short version, then the conditions that change it. If your site, dates or head count differ, call (803) 343-9386 and Jesse's team will tell you what works for your job.

Is a standard porta potty enough for a 50-person party?

Yes, for about 4 hours. Fifty guests over 4 hours make roughly 200 uses, which is one standard unit. Add a second unit if the party runs longer or serves alcohol. A standard event unit starts at $165 with delivery and pickup.

What is the difference between a construction and an event porta potty?

The unit design is the same. Event units are our newer, cleaner-looking units and arrive freshly washed for a short rental. Construction units stay out for weeks and get weekly service. Both have a seat, urinal and toilet paper.

Does a standard porta potty have hand sanitizer?

We can mount a hand sanitizer dispenser inside on request at no charge. For food events, a separate hand washing station with soap and water works better than sanitizer alone.

Do you have pink porta potties?

Yes, some of our standard units are pink. Ask when you book. Colors are first come, first served and do not change the price.

Can I keep a standard porta potty for just 3 days on a jobsite?

Yes. Our 7-day jobsite rental starts at $135 and covers delivery, pickup and one service visit. You are not billed for 28 days when the job only needs a few.

Does the unit come with a lock?

Each unit has an inside occupied/vacant latch. For jobsites, we can add a hasp so you can lock it with your own padlock overnight.
